WMS and inventory tracking

The Taurid Ostrava company’s solution uses Zebra TC22 mobile scanners for warehouse inventory management. The high durability of the hardware is particularly suitable for warehouse and logistics environments. The modular architecture of the mobile application allows for easy expansion with other processes and technologies, including the possibility of connecting to our TauFLEXIT MES. Our solution is supported by a custom-made mobile application for receiving and issuing orders, for monitoring the warehouse status, and of course, it fully cooperates with the deployed WMS. The professional Zebra TC22 terminal combines a mobile device and an industrial scanner. It can scan 1D and 2D codes (EAN, QR, DataMatrix) with high accuracy even in demanding operations. The warehouse occupancy can be displayed on a large-format screen or, in standalone mode, directly on the scanning device. Since the application is developed using Android Enterprise technology, the application and thus the screen can be displayed on a mobile phone. The application communicates online with the WMS warehouse system in real time. This includes recording incoming goods and orders, decisions on the placement of stored items, management and optimization of placement, real-time inventory monitoring, generation of picking tasks, and all in cooperation with superior or subordinate systems.
The solution also includes traceability. It allows for batch tracking, expiration management, and of course a complete audit trail.
Thanks to centralized device management, it is possible to perform mass updates, configuration, and security settings for all devices with the Taurid Ostrava mobile application
